Comps or bounce games?

What do you play most..... qualifying comps or casual roll ups/bounce games?

unfortunately we have 5 months with no Comps so I'm afraid its bounce games, though we always have a competitive element, ie play for money

I have more bounce games than qualifying comps, but bounce games v any comps is about even.

I love competition, but it's also nice to sometimes be able to slash it round without consequences.

I played hardly any comps this year sadly and I really missed them.

I missed the main part of my season this year due to injury but looking at what I missed and what I took part in before & after, I'd say even though we have nearly 4 months of non-competitive comps (qualifiers) over the winter, I'd say the amount we do have outweighs that twofold, so its qualifiers :thup:

It would be comps if it was just the summer, but I still play a lot in the winter so bounce games wins over the whole year.

I played way more competitive rounds than social this year as I played for the club team for the first time so that was my midweek round every week.

Played about 35 qualifiers this year between my club and a couple of 36 hole opens.

I play less true qualifiers as our season is April to end Sept but I also play in the Winter League which is at least another 14 rounds of competitive golf plus B Team and other matchplay matches so overall I'd say I play more competition games than roll-ups.

I'm happy with the balance

Play as many comps as are available - which is plenty. But play even more bounce games ...

definitely bounce games. I get a bit frustrated with comps since they take forever which gets me out of my flow. Nothing to do with me playing bad whatsoever.....

i play more bounce at the moment ,but hopefully changing course next year will see more comp golf which is what i prefer.

I play 2-3 times a week and Midweek members get 2 comps a month April to November.
I don't play the Matchplay comps because, well, I don't like Matchplay for starters and its always a trial trying to get matches organised.
So 10-15 rounds a month and only a Max of 2 comps.
Having said that, the bounce games are fairly competitive - sometimes......

I've played over 30 comps this year, but I've still played much more bounce games. Comps is where its at for me.

Bounce games probably 2 nights a week in the summer and comp every saturday. Mix in the knockouts and its probably 5 comps a month and 8 bounce games.
