I'm pretty sure he is standing on the 14th ( Par 3 ) hitting shots with you as you come through.

Ah...yes. They do make it quite clear that he'll just be hitting shots with you on the 14th, so that's fair enough.
It would be cooler if you got to actually play all or part of a round with him, but just to meet the guy would be epic.
That American couple who won that comp a couple of years ago and got to play an entire round with him and Charles Howell got the best prize.
