Competition question...

Quick question. I've not entered any comp before and i'm just thinking what people usually do if they tee of early. E.g. if i tee off at 8:00 do people usually wait until the last group are in to find out who wins or do you have lunch etc and leave? Strange question but i'm wanting to try and enter one this season and just want some info before i go into one.

Comp results aren't normally published until the handicap secretary looks over all the cards etc.

Have a bit of lunch and a pint with your playing partners then head home.

When playing early I usually spend around an hour having a drink and some food then head home. The last game won't finish till around 7pm ish,. So that would be a long wait.
I stayed once when I had mid day tee time and a cracking score, ended up second in our open, and pissed.:cheers:
