Having made a few postings on here, I seem to have progressed from being a 'newbie' to a 'hacker', but why this derogatory term? I am a very long term golfer with a respectable handicap for my age, and certainly not a hacker.

Why do people list what clubs they play with? Who cares?

Actually, it seems that I have just been promoted to a 'medal winner', which sounds much better!

I am 67 and have an exact handicap of 10.6. I was called a hacker for the same reason as you are called a Journeyman Pro.

Just reflects the number of posts. Nothing to get alarmed about. There is nothing derogatory meant. Ask Homer and 33,000 posts he is a haggered old pro.

If you don't like it and its not hurting anyone why let it bother you.
I like to see what others are playing,there handicaps etc.

It has absolutely nothing to do with ability more to do with how many posts you have made on the forum......

As for the signatures you do know you have the ability to turn them off in your settings don't you.....

Oh and I will shift this to a more appropriate section of the forum.

It's when they say '.............. you still wouldn't have made it' you need to worry
