Didn't John Daley use a 0 iron once - had about 12 degrees loft on it?
Maybe you should be looking out for one of them and dropping those new-fangled wood-things....

Whats the 1 iron for Bob?
And if you do use it,what type of shot, and what distance do you get with it.
As has been said "only god can hit a 1 iron".

Killing adders :)

Normally its for narrow par 4s/long par 3s or low chasers into the wind.
As for distance, I can't comment. TimG would only laugh ;)

1 and 2 irons are always pretty good solutions for 12 o'clock shadow.

Do you have A flex graphite shafts in the whole set too Bob??

You must have something whippy to get the long irons over 200 yards!

Haha! :D

I do hit the longest 2 iron at my range though.

I might be getting a few shots off you at Blackmoor yet so won't start giving any tips out right now.

Do you play off +3 or something when you mix it up in the amateur ranks? :D

You have to be careful pulling it out the bag, it has been know to slice right through and take of a finger or two

let's be honest.. unless you nail any of those long irons over the fence at the back of the range, then what's the point of any of them..drop the 1 iron and put a longer shaft in your putter, change the lie a little bit and hey presto.. its a revolution in hybrid technology..

sorry, a 2-ball driving iron is not something that should be contemplated on an empty belly. and as for one of those Ping refugees from a girder factory . .

. . ban them all
