Nope, not in the wrong forum!

Went down to the range and, following a thread about listening to music whilst playing.practising, took my Ipod with my noise cancelling in-ear headphones. Hit 100 balls (through the bag with 50, 40 pitches and 10 chips) listening to X & Y. I took the whole album over hitting the balls so around 50 minutes roughly.

It did wonders for my tempo which improved my ball striking no end. I was hitting it lovely. I even had people admire my swing (which never happens!).

I was calm, relaxed and not too bothered about the odd bad one. Guess, it'd be a bit anti-social to take my ipod for the medal on Saturday!

I'm going again tomorrow since I enjoyed it so much. Any other album suggestions?

I must admit I was a sceptic until the recent thread on here, but I had a practice session with the mp3 player on last week and I agree, I was calmer and more composed.
My choice of album was Air - Moon Safari. Great.

My swing alone is enough to make me want to slit my wrists, listening to that dirge may well send me over the edge :)

Stick some Jack Penate on, that`ll sort ya!

I find that Rammstein is always good for range practice. Industrial metal. Great beat, you can thrash away to your hearts desire.

HRC, are you sure that you didn't fall asleep and then dreamt that you were hitting the ball sweetly?

:) Definitely not. Spent an hour or so chipping and putting today - but forgot my ipod. Back for another session at the range with the ipod tomorrow.

Anything laidback and a fairly constant tempo would be good. A bit bland, but Keane's album Hopes and Fears could be a relaxing listen whilst swinging.
