I have a set of sim 2 max irons 4-pw which I was measured for at my local club pro shop, I walked away with the following
+1" and 1 degree flat with grapite shafts and Been struggling ever since, finally had enough and went for a club fitting at a fitting specialist and have been told these are totally wrong and I need +0.5" and 2 degree upright with steel kbs shaft which actually felt great ball flight etc was consistent,
Question:
can I get my clubs adjusted from 1 degree flat to 2 upright and cut down to 0.5"? Confused as some are saying yes and no?
Could do without spending on a new set
Thanks

Cutting down will affect swingweight, but possibly less problematic to do than the lie, which is tricky for a lot of irons.
I'd be going back to the pro and asking them why they flogged you a set they obviously wanted shot of!

Taylormade sim 2 max irons are cast which means they are more brittle than forged so would snap more easily.
If you want them bent, send them to Taylor Made and get them to do it.

If bought them as a custom fit I would be complaining, particularly if the pro is a TaylorMade stockist.

Happened to my mate and the Pro and TaylorMade did a deal on the correct spec.

How can you prove that the fit was incorrect? Possibly if the spec you were given in writing doesn't match what was delivered but the fit may have been correct for the swing of the day (or one of them :) )

1 degree flat to 2 degrees upright is a he'll of a swing change from one day to the next!
