I know that there's plenty of topics on buying the wrong clubs for your game and changing them....

But has anyone every bought clubs and for some reason or other had the odd mare with them and jumped the gun and sold them on again only to realise they made a mistake and should have kept them?
I suppose you could say not being patient with them.

Kid2, I can see your allegiance, but I am about to put my old mizunos back in the bag, glad I kept them. As my Signature says I really like my Cobra woods which made me buy the irons but I really haven’t felt comfortable with them. Currently ogling the new Mizuno range.

When I bought my current clubs I handed my old ones into the charity shop. I wish I had kept one back. They were blades of some description and not the best idea to learn with but I did get them for nought!!

Am not a big club changer ......yet!

Hmmm.

I bought some C/F Mizunos years ago, never liked them and swapped them for a fridge.

What did I buy 8 years later.....?

I bought the R9's on impulse and didn't get on with them at all and so was grateful that the TP's I have now became available at too good a price to ignore.

I've learned my lesson from the R9's and will always try before I buy again. I use to but the lure of a new model and two weeks before the official launch were too much for a weak willed golfer like me.

Ive offered my daughter new irons but everything she has tried does'nt compare to her Cobra FPs, they are a few years old now & still look good, but the pro recomended the new mizunos, she tried them said their ok but distance wise was about 20yards short of her Cobras, so he put Graphite in & said these will be longer than the Cobras, only 10yds short this time lol, he was abit baffled as he could see she wasn't trying to swing slower with the muzinos or trying to launch the cobras - he gave up & said stick with the Cobras till they break :), shes is worried though that now Cobra is owned by Puma they might not be as good in the future as they are now.
