Said to her last night "sure I will give you a lift into work on sunday, its a medal today and I never do well as I always have a blow up hole or two, I doubt I will qualify for the second day"

What did I do? Shot Gross 84, nett 71 off my new 13 handicap putting me 4th nett and 11th gross as of 1pm! Almost 2/3 of the field in roughly.

Looks like I will qualify, funny thing is a guy in our 3 ball said the same thing to his wife and he was leading the nett when we left the club!

Oh I intend to show I can still play golf like a [insert smiffys favourite word here] when I go to blackmoor. I am shooting these scores round my home track, I have no idea how I will cope with Blackmoors greens etc

EDIT: Got the final results, 10th nett so Im pretty sure I qualified! New handicap is 12.0!!!!! I have dropped 2.3 shots off the handicap this month, my swing changes have worked!

Just picked up the wife and she is VERY p****ed off to the max, made even worse by the fact I am playing the next two Saturdays in the Captains Day and the Memorial Trophy, another blues medal.

Just got my tee time, 10.32.

The wife is even more peed off as I could take her but either she would have to get there 45 mins early or I get to the club 20 mins before tee time!

Thankfully there is a bus she can take but she seems to think I SHOULD give her a lift...

Worst thing is last weeked I got my handicap down to 13 in the blue tees stableford comp, taking me out of Div 2...

If I had not got cut I would have either won Div 2 easily or be a fair few shots ahead if it is over the two days...

If I had won it I would have got my name on the honours board Man that sucks! I only had that 13 Handicap for 5 days anyway.
