It got played, just, almost cancelled after torrential rain throughout the morning round as a couple of greens had standing water, but fortunately it was brighter in the afternoon.
had a steady morning with a gross 88 (75) 2 better than my playing partner who is off 5. In the afternoon I had a great first 9 of 39, but then had 4 double bogeys coming home for a disappointing 86 (73). Whereas my partner in complete contrast to the morning had a gross 74.
I did win the net trophy which was some consolation.
