Evening all,
As i have only just bought my first set of Forged clubs iv been wondering how people look after there own.
After every round i clean mine and if needs be dry the head covers.....
Today my pro told me to give the shafts and the heads a light spray of oil once clean and this will keep any moisture out of the cavities behind the head and also stop the shafts from rust pitting after getting wet....

Do as your doing. Dont leave iron covers on them and dry any water to try and avoid rust.

A smear of 3 in 1 oil does wonders also.

Warm soapy water and give 'em a good scrub. Dry with a towel and give the shafts a good towelling too.
Put back in bag........easy!

Nooo! I heard that the soap slowly eats away at the glue and can therefore make the head loose.

Haven't lost any heads off my irons yet! :D

I use a small nail brush and immerse just the head (not the hosel) in the soapy water. Scrub the face and sole of the club, rinse with running water then dry off.
