I had a brilliant Xmas day last year. Mrs Colch had an operation just before so wasn't interested in a big meal. I asked the kids if they wanted me to do a full roast dinner or if they wanted something else. Younger one wanted macaroni cheese and the older one wanted pizza. It meant instead of spending most of the day in and out of the kitchen I could play with them instead.
This year we've got a catered chalet in Tignes over Xmas so no cooking again. But from now on it will be an easy lunch on Xmas day and then do the roast dinner on Boxing Day or 27th Dec.
