My company has 8 employees... was speaking to one of them yesterday (warehouse manager) and he told me that one of the warehouse guys has said he won't be happy if he doesn't get a Christmas bonus this year.
Not that I'm against giving Christmas bonuses... but I don't think anyone should automatically *expect* them - should they? To be fair, the guy in question has done well this year and worked really hard - but is a Christmas bonus supposed to be paid based on performance? Or is it more just a 'gift' from the company?
If it's not performance related, then surely all staff members should receive the same, right? Perhaps with some modifier in there for how long they've been at the company?
You tight sod ................... not sure about that job you were going to offer me!!
