Interesting reading so far with the main choices being lessons and membership. Lessons to make you technically better, membership as a more cost effective way of playing a lot, especially if there are decent practice facilities as well.
I'll pass on the purple shoes for now murph but will see if my little tripod fits my camera to record my swing every time I go to the range (thanks for that one Swinger).
What has surprised me is the sheer volume of forumers that have previously pronounced their love for their GPS (couldn't live without it, revolutionised how I play the game, completely changed my course management). Yet none have pinpointed it as their standout purchase (very interesting food for thought).
Any more thoughts out there? Is it lessons / membership for you or is it something else?
Going to the driving range with a mate who knows a bit about the golf swing so they can check that what you think you are doing is actually what you are doing.
I guess it is the same as the video camara.
It also makes it competitive which is never a bad thing.
