Chicken Tikka massala shortage

This is one of my favourite ready meals but there seems to have been none in LIDL for months now.

For those that like it and shop in other supermarkets is the situation the same?

wow just wow, stock pile your chicken tikka masala before its too late everyone!!!!!!!!!

never bought one from a supermarket, my local indian restaurant seems to be able to make them fresh every day if needed, alternatively look up a recipe on the tinternet

Seemed to have plenty in Tesco last time I passed by - curry, I mean, I am not certain of the varieties! Rarely buy them from Supermarket

Just make your own. A home made curry is so much better.
Although lately I've been making Singapore noodles.

No problems from either ASDA or Sainsbury’s when ordered.

Make it yourself or get a take away from the curry house. Find with the jars they taste so artificial compared to anything freshly made.

As part of trying to eat more healthily I make a few of my own curries nowadays. And as others have said, they are a lot better than any pre packed ones IMHO. Also was eye opening to me how relatively easy it is to make them quite healthy and still taste good.

I'm sure you could get yourself up and running

Their pilau rice is amazing got some in fridge ready for Thursday when we have some balti I cooked couple weeks back

My god, you've just cleared up one of life's biggest mysteries. Mass purchase of LIDL curries leads to a run, pun intended, on bog rolls!

It's immense.
I completely under estimated how much base sauce would be created from the recipe, needless to say I made curries on 5 consecutive nights last week ?
What's your favourite recipe from it? I loved the madras but it was soooooo hot ?

Try the Pataks ones, they're superb for a quick knock up.

I’ve usually got a spicy curry base position or two frozen ready to knock up with a protein. My fav is to add spinach and “Meat the Alternative” Soya mince and serve with rice.

I never been a curry liker myself but I always remember the "Who dares win" sketch about a bunch of guys trying to out-do each other with how hot they can have their curry. "I'll have the broken glass and napalm sauce please"

I have been a fan of Asian food for 40 or 50 years , restaurant food, home cooked and recently supermarket prepared dishes. I am very impressed with Waitrose Jalfrezi. Well worth trying.

Not Asian old chap.................Chicken Tikka Massala was another great Scottish food invention in the 1970's.
Along with the new deep fried battered pickled onions.
