Saint Calvados my NAP for tomorrow

With this weather I can't believe Bristol de Mai isn't running on Friday
 
So my shotgun approach to today’s racing is as follows....

1:30 Getabird
2:10 Saint Calvados
2:50 Vintage Clouds, Ramses De Teillee
3:30 Melon (w/o Buveur Dair)
4:10 Jers Girl (w/o Apple's Jade)
4:50 Ms Parfois
5:30 Testify, Le Rocher

Win only on those lot.

Then a heart over head bet as I am a member of the ERC, Elgin e/w in the Champion Hurdle
 
Here's my punts (NOT TIPS) for today,

please gamble responsibly, when the fun stops, STOP!!

1.30 - Kalashnikov @ 5/1
It gets the ground and repeat performance of his Betfair hurdle run then i see it winning here today. the Fav is too short for me.

I like First Flow too.

2.10 - Saint Calvados @ 3/1

It'll love the ground and i think itll give Footpad a good run for his money.


2.50 - Cassa Tete ew @ 28/1

I think this could be a bit of a a plot horse from the Moore yard looking at its past runs and i wont be surprised to see it sluice in.

i also like the Pipe horse Ramses De Teillee.

3.30 - Buveur D’Air @ 4/6

Classy horse and nothing beats it.

4.10 - Apples Jade @ 8/13

As above another classy Mare.

4.50 - Rathvinden @ 7/1

This will love the ground and i've no doubt barring mis-haps it wins.

5.30 - Any Secomd Now @ 6/1

It's got form against better horse's and its dropping down to handicap company. It'll relish the ground too.

Not the greatest of days today but we go again tomorra.

I was mightily impressed with Footpad, and Rathvinden was given a peach of ride from Paddy Mullins.

1.30 - Samcro @ 4/6 . ill also have a little bit on Vision Des Flos (e/w) @ 20/1
2.10 - Black Corton @9/1 He'll love this ground and has already set the standard. won here LTO a great value bet for me

2.50 - As You Were (e/w) @ 22/1 i was gonna swerve this race as it looks very competitive but ive had a little bit on this.
3.30 - Altior @ 6/5
BEAST!!!!!! Unbeaten over both hurdles and fences. Time to punt like a proper man!!
4.10 - The Last Samuri @ 13/2 (NAP)
Grand National runner up, he gets the trip and i think he should be fav
4.50 - Act of Valour @8/1
This is a blind punt, Nicholls has a great record im this. i like Lisp ew @14/1
5.30 - Rhinestone @ 9/1
i cant see how the fav is nearly half the price of this. it was 2nd LTO but wax only beaten 1L. i think it'll improve on that run and im happy to take the mullins fav on.

Aftertiming but I had the winners in the last two yesterday, 40/1. Nice pick me up after Apple's Jade ruined my trebles and doubles.

Samcro and Altior in a double and Cause of Causes in a treble.

Altior never ran well and still obliterated that field. Pure animal.

As much as I don’t trust Henderson, if Altior wasn’t fit there’s no way he’d have risked him.

I was impressed with Presenting Percy, I backed him LTO in Ireland when he got turned over so I didn’t fancy him today but I got that wrong. I thought Russell gave him a cracking ride though.

Can’t see past might bite today. Thought he was the favourite by a long way for this race around Christmas time and now the race has got a lot weaker with the withdrawals I really struggle to see anything beating him. He seems to have sorted out his misbehaving near the finish and has a real steel in him when a horse goes by him.

Would be nice to see edwulf finish in 2nd today and would round off some come back after being on his deathbed this time last year.
