Checking someones profile ??

Why do you do it ??

I've had over 800 visits to my profile :mmm: what are folk expecting to see :mmm:

I may have clicked inadvertently on someone's but for no other reason, so why do folk do it ??

A number of reasons for it, to PM someone, to quickly search for a post or thread by someone or in probably most cases you inadvertently do it. I wouldn’t read to much into it.

Mostly it's inadvertently as far as I'm concerned and anyway, there is rarely any info of value there.

Never done it on purpose, often done it by mistake. A mixture of fat fingers and a slightly, at times, clumsy tablet.

I use it to check someone's age sometimes. If they have entered it in the 'about me' tab anyway. Sometimes a person's age goes a long way towards explaining why they have certain views. Occasionally their about me section will have other info they haven't put in their signature as well, like handicap and where they play etc. Just for curiosity.

I do find on the ipad when you go to click on a thread the page jumps with the adverts then you clink on a poster and then it goes to the profile page.

Until today I've never checked how many times I've been 'visited' and it turns out the figure is about 2,000 more times than the number of posts I've made...

Is that good or bad?
