I would be up for it, I live in Nottinghamshire and surprisingly have never played Charnwood Forest. Unfortunately, having had a Total Knee Replacement operation last Thursday, I am out of action for the next few months. If there is anything happening later in the year, perhaps I'll be able to attend.

A reminder for this one.

At the moment we're still some short of the required number of 9 golfers so unless we get another 4 it's a non-starter.

I might be a non runner now :(

Hurt my ribs 2 weeks ago, made it worse trying to play last weekend and don’t feel any better now. I’m hoping to be ok in a couple of weeks but won’t risk playing until it feels right.

Okay, hope you recover in time.

Can't really understand why this hasn't had a greater uptake. There is no downside.

1. Mr Crow organising.
2. Centre of England location 10 minutes from M1 junction 22.
3. Very interesting and picturesque course.
4. On a Sunday.
5. £40 for bacon roll and coffee, 18 holes and a meal after.

We will need to book very soon. Come forth all ye forumers!

Well it looks as though we're not going to get the required minimum number of 9, so does anyone fancy playing it anyway but not at the group rate?

Price of round only:
Weekend £40
Weekend with county card £30

Weekdays will be slightly cheaper.

Would like to play the course, perhaps we could get a 3 or 4-ball together later in the year.
