Bought some old clubs today which included a ceramic driver??(or that's what it says on it, never heard of them:confused:).

Did a search on here but couldn't find any information.

Does anyone know if these are safe to hit ?

The club face looks like the plastic(?) inserts you see on some wooden headed clubs.

Not sure on make, it only say Ceramic Tour 3 Loft 16degrees Super Jumbo Spoon. Wierdly it is like a metallic green finish on top with a metal sole plate moulded in.
On the shaft it says it has a tour flex, pinseeker precision, performance plus and advanced filament wound aero shaft(looks graphite)

Just looks like it could shatter on first hit, if no one knows, suppose only one way to find out, try it out on the links later;)

I had one for a very short period (back in the 90s from memory) picked up second hand. Nothing special about the quality of the strike and quickly sold on.

Mine had a creamy white head.
