Haven't watched but I'm guessing Morgan, Peiterson and the fat one from Westlife are hanging around?

Vinnie Jones, Pietersen and Denise Van Outen..... 😃

One the plus side, India and Denmark are battling it out... Woop woop

Terrible tv,
seeing people enjoying themselves on the golf course, how dare they,
let's all don smoking jackets and retire to the gents lounge to moan about it

If foam hands and smoke machines are your thing then fill ya boots.
Oh & Denise commentating, what's not to like.

Personally I'd av liked to see Mr Blobby feature at some stage of event tho.

Watching on the IPad and all the nonsense and smoke machines etc are just horrific , the interviews whilst playing are good and the players do look relax and enjoying it. But viewing wise it's for me just awful.

The one thing it is doing though is bringing back some great memories of that 18th

Looks like there are more Tour trucks and vans than spectators though

As for the ones that are there shouting "get in the hole" - that really does add nothing

Are you actually finding that entertaining
Golfsixes is not what golf needs to bring people in,ok the game proberly takes too long for modern times but thats simple just promote 9 hole golf and not this ridiculious BS.
It amazes me Titleist have sponsorship boards all over the place at this event,Titleist one of the biggest names in golf .Its quite clear now why the big guns arnt playing and roll on this evening when we can watch the Wells Fargo a proper golf tournament.

A lot of what is going on there happens at every big event, eg autograph zones, areas for kids to hit balls and get free coaching, places for adults to get a beer /relax etc.

What happens when some of the people watching this are attracted to go and have a go though?
"Sorry, no jeans..... Ssssshhhhh when people are hitting...... No you don't score it like football, it's 1 up, 2 up, all square etc... "

One issue with following up on this is the lack of facilities that allow beginners without much skill yet to get round a golf course. A lot of new courses abroad incorporate par 3 courses into the practice areas from the beginning, this allows newbies to actually get out and play for real well before they can get onto a proper golf course.
Unfortunately most established clubs in the UK won't have the room for this.

Without knowing statistics, I would imagine retention is more of an issue than the initial attraction.

Fair play to them, at least they're trying something different, makes a change from the usual coverage. Everyone there looks like they're enjoying it and that's what it's all about, it'd be great in Dubai at night

Have I got this right..
There's been 24 "matches" today - 6 in each of the 4 groups..
Top 2 go through.
So tomorrow there will be 4 Quarter Finals, 2 Semi Finals, a Final and probably a 3rd place playoff....so 8 matches......
What are they going to do after lunch..?

Watched it for a couple of hours. Enjoyed the golf, don't need the smoke and walk on music, and they don't need Vernon Kay, Vinny Jones and Kevin Peterson.

Fair play for trying something different. It took a few different formats before cricket settled on T20, hopefully they find something through this, even if they have to make the odd refinement.

Saw it and while I didn't enjoy the coverage personally it's still good to see the tour trying. Plenty of events trial different formats before getting it right so while I don't think this is the right one, I'd be happy to see it tweaked and tried again

I watched some this afternoon and would not go and watch it (will go up to BMW at Wentworth) and no plans to tune in tomorrow so hopefully they work out something to improve it - maybe I am too old and more a traditionalist.

Apart from a few kids actually at the venue, I don't see how this format would actually attract new people watching it on TV.

Bearing in mind it's on Sky Sports 4, the only people watching it will be golfers /people who normally watch a bit of golf.
