Anyone going over to Portrush next week?

Flying over Saturday morning and have a practice round for The Valley at Portrush on Sunday. I have currently have two times booked for 15:30 and there are only five of us so three free spots if anyone interested in a pre-tournament round.

Been drawn at Castlerock on the 1st day. Anyone played it?

Don't know what's happening after that as they seem to be having some issues with their web site.

Castlerock is a great course which I used to play a lot. Set between the coast and a railway line, with some very tricky holes and a chance to hit the 8.15 train to Belfast on one hole.

Castlerock is a mediocre course. Not a great course.

Alan going over on Saturdat by ferry there's 5 of us going we're playing Ballycastle saturday, Castlerock sunday,we start at Ballycastle on monday.

The guy made an erse of the draw,its his first year of doing it,we were drawn out at 11 we asked for 8 the time we've had in the past still not sure whats happening with it.

We're staying in Coleraine but will be doing our swallying in Portstewart, which is the best course out of the 4 its cracking.

Castlerock is a great little course. Its not Portrush, but you will enjoy it.

Pompous? Ha. I think you are confusing sarcastic with pompous.

Pompous is a guy dismissing a course well liked by serious NI golfers as 'mediocre'. I see you play on a pitch and putt course. Although it is 'scenic'. I guarantee that Castlerock is a better course than that.
