Cash Back Sites. Help, Advice, Recommendations, Experience

I'm aware of cash back sites existance, but not sure how genuine they are.

Are any of you using these sites, is the cash back worth the time and effort needed?

Which sites do you use and is it straight forward?

I use quidco on a regular basis. They are genuine and often results in receiving a few quid back every so often.

Have used quidco for a few years now and had about £1,000 of cashback, so it does work.

With quidco you pay £5 a year (off your cashback, no cashback you dont pay) but get higher % rates from the merchants. Other sites give you a lower % rate but dont charge the annual fee.

There are even a couple of golf shops to earn cashback with as well.

We use quidco fairly often and have had some good deals, in the past we have ordered a product and once the cash back offer has been confirmed, cancel the order ,the cash back gets paid and we have not spent anything

Apologies if I sound slightly 'dumb' here. But what are you talking about?

Instead of buying a product direct, be it insurance, electrical items etc. Buy it through quidco and they give you cash back, you need to register and the money gets paid into a pre registered account . It sometimes takes quite a while for the money to be credited but you can make quite a saving

There's no catch, they are simply a web affiliate. Most commonly associated with gaming sites, who funnel players to poker/casino or sportsbooks that they are affiliated with, but nevertheless works the same with other merchants just as well.

Who pays? The retailer initially, and sites like quidco, rather than pocketing all of that affiliate fee, refund some back to the members they have signed up. They use it as their marketing tool. Think of rakeback affiliate sites for poker, this is the same.

I've signed up to Quidco and cash Back Kings, I'm told they're two of the biggies and leaving the rest.

With the latter I have signed up to free trials with Love Film and Napster and getting £10 for each.
