Currently have a standbag for when I carry, and a 14-way Titleist cart bag for when I take the trolley option. A midsize Titleist staff bag has caught my eye, and wondering the pros / cons of the cart v staff bags?

I have seen that staff bags tend to rub badly on carts?

They can as their designed to be arrived by a caddy
I think it's down to personal choice and what fits in the boot of your car..

I've got the Titleist mid size and use it on a Powakaddy. I have the ball pockets forward so one side is out of use. But there are sufficient pockets for this not to be a problem. I've seen folk have them "side on" too. I wouldn't have the full size staff bags as they are huge!

Midsized Fits on the trolley nicely. Not had any issues with damage to the bag, it must depend on how they are secured.

I've had cart bags too. They are ok, its down to preference. Both did the job.

I also have a carry bag for when I'm, um, carrying!!

U just got rid of my midsized tour bag. Tbh it wasn't as roomy as you would think, if it warmed up and you took stuff off, often it would not fit in the bag pockets. Also was quite bulky still and not any lighter than a full size tour bag. Never had any issues fitting either on an electric trolley.
