Carry on films

Definitely non PC these days, my fav is Up the Khyber I love the line "What rank stupidity" and the dinner party near the end is brilliant.
I also once caddied for Cardew Robinson who played the fahkir.

Looks the first one will be a Carry on Doctor/Nurse incarnation http://news.sky.com/story/1697406/carry-on-making-a-comeback-with-doctors-film

Not sure it'll work especially given the last outing, Carry on Columbus which was dreadful and I don't know whether in this day and age of political correctness it will work on any level. If they can't re-create the innuendo etc then the project is flawed from the start

My fave is Carry On Behind - the archaological dig one with Kenneth Williams and the attractive Russian colleague for endless double entendre, centered around some caravan park shenanigans with Sid James - very funny.

Yep! Carry on was 'of another age' and should be left there! The PC requirements would just be too much!

Here's an absolute gem that would transfer (and has been remade once), but I doubt if 'modernising' it would add anything!!

Some of the giants of British comedy!
I even recognise some of the streets, if not all the architecture, in the first one!
