Yeh I'm sure Madrid will bring it in to the Fulham changing room after the game to let them lift it. They just won't be allowed to keep it :D :D :D.

Only joking I wouldn't know what end of the ball to kick. F1 or golf that's about me. I hope they do win then the Fulham fans won't go on about a match over 40 years ago every 4 years as they'll have a more recent win to talk about     .

Only kidding I do hope they win!!!!

Bad luck Fulham.

I think I can safely say that almost all English/British football fans are sickened for them.
This was no team full of prima donnas like some which play in the Premier.
This was a team of grafters who got to the final against the odds and tried their damned best to bring some glory to their club.

They've certainly raised their profile in European football. I think Madrid thought they'd be a walkover. Fulhams fighting spirit certainly gave them a kick in the pants.

Gutted and in my opinion a game that could have gone either way especially in extra time. The last five minutes Fulham looked dead on their feet as if the 63 games had finally caught up with them but I'm proud of my team and their performance. I think if Hodgson stays then we could qualify next season and hopefully have a decent FA cup run.

Hodgeson looks like a principled and loyal guy, He has very little else to proove in this game and I hope he stays at Fulham, but what if a big gun like Liverpool come knocking?

He is getting on in years and it may be a chance of a swansong

Of the top flight clubs, only liverpool is in with a chance of management change, Fergie will do 1 more year. The Arse look like sticking with the Arse, Chelsea, Spurs and City are not going to change.

So he will either stay or go to liverpool if a vacancy arises

gutted for fulham last night... it was a good game to watch with two teams of different qualities.

Forlan showed last night (yet again) how clinical he can be, and the job he could have done if he was given a chance at Man Utd.

Better footballing team probably won last night, but the team that put the most effort in, and seemed more organised throughout lost out to a split second of class finishing.

If nothing else, this game set an example of how to play a cup final. both teams grafting all out. the better team on the day won but both deserve much credit.

I doubt that the FA Cup or UEFA Cup finals will better it. It's a certainty that few World Cup matches will.

IMO a good manager but not good enough for liverpool.

Ironically, hodgson is expected to gain 4th place on a £10m max budget though benitez was expected to win the league last season on £1.5m :D :D :D :D

to be realistic, benitez was expected to win the league as the culmination of how many years and how much money. the £M1.5 was additional to all that had gone before.

for hodgson, I think a little reality has crept in and the owners have realised that if they want to progress they don't have the right set-up.
