I hope so. Hodgson fully deserves his Manager of the Year award and their result at home against Juventus shows that they've got what it takes.

The game is live on Channel 5 tonight.

My prediction: 2-1 to Fulham.

Sorry, but no. Hope I am wrong, but Spanish team are a good team, and last time Mark Schwartzer was in goal in a Europa league final Middlesborough got spanked.

I think they'll do it, there's barely a more experienced manager than hodgson around, and I think that'll make the difference.

As for Atletico, well, I'm a big La Liga fan, and think it is a superior league to the vastly over-rated EPL, BUT, they are almost point for point with Fulham in their respective leagues, and no great shakes imo.

It's basically a toss up, and Hodgson will swing it, Zamora to confirm himself as surprise player of the year with at least one goal.

I've got to keep believing. Zamora to score early on. Athletico equalise and Dempsey in extra time. Not that I'll see much pacing around the house in nervousness. Either that or we'll get overcome by nerves and tonked 4-0

With Fulham anything is possible but proud to be white. Come on you whites

Really hope Fulham can do it. Anything can happen in a cup final. All the best to them. Heard this morning that Zamora has taken some pain killing injections in his achilles so as he can play tonight... that's devotion to the cause and hope it pays off with a goal.

Personally i think Harry Droopy Rednap should have got manager of the year as Fulham have been pretty ordinary in the league, although it might have been different if they didn't have the europa league to concentrate on....

Well lets hope it was worth losing to the gunners like they did, would be a waste of time just to turn up to the final and get stuffed :p

They were always going to get stuffed at the weekend.

But today is different. Which is why I'm pleased Liverpool didn't make it to the final. I think Fulham would have struggled against an English side.

But they have every chance tonight.

They've proven that their manager has the knowledge and experience to win in Europe, and they has the skills and belief to follow his game plan.

It wont be pretty. They may win, or they may not.

But I know they'll run themselves ragged, and they'll do themselves, and English football, proud either way.

Which is all anyone can ask.

I usually don't care when it's Man U or Liverpool but on this occasion I really hope Fulham do it.
They've turned in some really gutsy performances plus they have a manager who knows his job.

Fulham 1-0

I don't see why not, its just two teams against each other & I think the first goal will be key.

I really hope they do by the way, I will be cheering them on

Normally I'd agree, but Fulham have already proved they can fight back from being a goal down.

2-1 to Fulham

Let's hope so but whatever the result, we've already achieved more than I think any of us imagined.

However, I've been saying it from the very beginning so I'll say it again for good luck...

We won't get through the next round :)

COME ON YOU WHITES!!!!!

Did anyone seriously expect anything else from Fulham on Sunday? I mean lets face it, if the team selection didn't tell you that Hodgson wasn't taking that one seriously I don't know what would. Playing Baird at right back and Pantsil centre was a sure sign that Baird will play RB tonight. Apart from him, Schwartzer is the only player out of that 11 that will start tonight.

Arsenal should be embarresed they only got 4 :p

Zamora's been taking injections for weeks and apparently ruled himself out of the WC squad because of the injury which I believe will have an op in the next few days. My only hope is that he is fitter than he was in the SF otherwise he shouldn't play.

As for Manager of the season, Redknapp would have been a worthy winner but you have to look at the resources he has at his disposal compared to Hodgson. Personally I thought Hodgson should have got it last year so getting it this year is reward for the last 2 years IMO. He's also the only manager to win Manager of the Month twice this season (I believe)

The athletes are not exactly the best team in Spain at the moment. Sure, Fulham can win. I hope they do; I always support the UK teams in Europe, regardless of who they are. I remember shouting at the TV in support of all the big clubs over the years.
Come on the Whites! :)
