Afternoon all,

Off to France in August for 2 weeks of golf (missus parents live over in Toulouse), and I'll need to get a flight bag/case for my sticks. Can anyone recommend a good quality bag/case. Don't mind spending abit of cash on it as i'll be using it 5/6 times a year.

Did find this on ebay web page any opinions?

Cheers

Never used the hard cases so can not comment but have used the Srixon one with beach towels as extra padding and I have the Mizuno Elite flight bag which is huge!!! Both are great bags but for my stand bag I go for the Srixon one as it has just enough room without looking like you have the street in it.

Hi

I've been through this, so can prob help.

Firstly...stay away from those hard cases !! I bought one and the clasps are very poor, you will end up having to use a few straps around it for peace of mind.

I then moved on to this..

Ping Folding Travel Bag

which I bought from American golf.

It is the absolute nuts, as voted by the 10 people I recently went to Scotland with. All commented on it being better than they had & between, us we had most makes of travel cases.

It has four wheels on the bottom, so rolls along in an upright position. The protection is first class and it folds down to almost nothing to save space.

Hope that helps.

I have one of them - wouldn't even consider getting anything else...
