Can anyone recommend a decent insole?

Further to my ECCO shoes post, the ones I've been given are half a size too large. Before letting them go to waste I want to try and put some insoles in them to see if that will help.

Anyone know if there are any which are good for golf, or will a standard pair do the trick?

If you want to bulk out the shoe, try some of the memory foam ones. They're chunkier than a big bird's backside.

I use Morrison "Pine Fresh".

I would try a camping/outdoors shop - and get some decent socks as well.

Without revisiting the engrossing sock thread the other day I use 1,000 mile socks which are thicker than standard so may do the trick (with insoles).

I have some "walking" socks which I tend to wear for golf most weekends, so I'll use them and try an insole to bulk out the inside of the shoe.

If that doesn't work. Anyone with size 9.5 feet may well get themselves a bargain!

Buy some 99p ones from the sunday market or wilkos or ebay or something....
