Hi all,
I recently purchased this old copper wedge and I would like to try and age it or identify it. It looks like a TP9; not sure of the loft but looks like a pitching wedge when compared with my steel TP9 wedge. There’s nothing stamped on the bottom of the club and “561” stamped on the hosel.

Can anyone throw any light on the age of this old beauty?

Many thanks in advance

Mizuno TP9 is not a copper bronze wedge it is a standard forged steel wedge.

mid you google Mizuno TP history, you’ll see the complete article.

My club is a TP 9 56 degree Aluminium Bronze sand wedge.

It’s shown clearly in the article.

Sorry I thought I had deleted the bit about it being a forged steel wedge.

I put the wrong number in to the search for the type of metal as detailed on the hosel.
