Cambered vs Flat sole.....

There are 2 distinct sole designs on fairway woods these days...the "Smiley Face" like TSi or "Flat" like G410/425...
Does anyone know the benefits of one over the other...if there even is one..?
I've used plenty of the Smiley Face fairways but I don't think I've ever hit a Flat one before....
Any answers anyone?
