Calls for Clarity

We have heard this phrase a lot of late but one thing is clear to me, when it is used it means different things at different times!

Sometimes it means be less contradictory, others it means people should follow the rule, an another time it means governments should coordinate.

I’m calling for clarity on the use of the phrase “calling for clarity”.

The funniest use of the phrase was when I heard a caller into a radio show.

The caller was complaining about lockdown rules and states words to the effect of “the rules are clear, why done people follow them?”.

When the caller was done the host asked them if the government could do one thing what would it be, the caller answers “clarity on the rules”...
