Can anyone actually justify spending best part of £600 for a driver?

No. I’ve long thought the majority of golfers have a skewed way of thinking. Which club do we use the most during every single round we play? And yet the majority won’t spend anywhere near that on a putter.

The retro colour thing (think BRNR last year), the ELY in the name (Callaway founders name) is all a bit cringe for me.

I change driver every 5 years, so my £600 went on a GT2 in the summer.

To be fair, I work hard and luckily can have both. But the holiday would get binned for the driver

Thank god there are enough mugs willing to pay it so we can buy their cast offs in 12-18 month

I just tried to find one of a couple doing a week all inclusive in Tunisia for seven ton, but it only came up with a week long bus ride
