Buying from us??

What about this?

Will I have to Pay Fees, Taxes or Additional Charges?

Most countries will impose a Brokerage Fee, V.A.T. (Value Added Tax) or Duty for importing. Clubs4Cash is an experienced International Shipper and will do the following automatically for you....

- Lower the "Declared Value" (undervalue) as much as possible to minimize any V.A.T taxes or duties

- Label your purchase as a "Used Golf Club" (even New products). This will exempt you from New product import levies and taxes.

- USPS will handle your paperwork at customs so that you will NOT be charged a Brokerage Fee.

In short, taxes (if any) will be minimal.

USPS? coming from the US then, or do they (or you) mean UPS?

Customs this end will slap on tax and will push them out via Parcel Farce who will charge extra - in effect you pay postage twice.

I'm guessing your previous post was copied from their website? Not clever announcing how you plan to 'circumvent' HM Customs.

Surely serial numbers can be faked/duplicated. Just trying to play devils advocate and prevent buyers remorse. They may be a fantastic bargain and if you feel happy then go for it. I'd be wary personally and because I won't buy any club I haven't hit I won't buy of the web anyway.

I got stung buying a club from the USA - last minute tempting bid on a 'cheap' club off Ebay - it said all was sorted with customs - £45 extra and 3 weeks delay ( 1 for shipping and 2 in customs where they would not release it without the £45 fee) & I finally got it.

Never again - would have been cheaper from a local shop and faster - definitely not worth the hassle.

Should have supported the local guy really but it seemed too good to miss - it was too good to be true!!

I missed out on a set of callaway x forged by 8 quid  they went for £123 and my max bid was £115 and forgot about the auction aaaggghhhh!

i've advised on this before, customs duty and vat is applicable to 99% of goods coming into the country, if your parcel is shipped by usps then the delivery will be made by parcelforce, so expect a letter advising of a charge that must be paid before delivery.

I can confrim this as I bought my Skycaddie SGX off Ebay USA and it was delivered by USPS (united states postal service) which was hard to track once it left the states and took over 2 weeks. A leaflet was dropped through the door by the postman and I had to go and collect and pay the tax at the post office. Even allowing for the tax I got a brand new SGX for £170 when they're over £300 in this country :D. No problem registering it in this country even though it was bought from the states.

Agree that buying stuff direct from the US is normally a pain with regard to import duty, especially if USPS\Parcelforce are used. Parcelforce in particular anger me with admin charges that are sometimes more than the value of the item being shipped.

Whenever I buy from the US, I either get it shipped to the US and collect it when I am there, or get it shipped to friends\family in the US and have them forward it to me.

If you can't do either of the above options, unless you get a really good deal, its not normally worth the bother.
