Hi
So I''ve been playing for a few years not and came to a situation where i would like to get myself a new driver, albeit still being at Uni, the funds are somewhat tight. So i've limited myself to a budget of 70 GBP.
Going through eBay I narrowed it down to a TaylorMade R7 and Callaway ERC Fusion (however still open to other suggestions). The irons I currently have are Callaway Fusion with graphite shafts.
I still have a rather high handicap and tend to slice the ball with the driver, therefore I would need the club to be as forgiving as possible. Distance is at the moment less important.
However I do feel more comfortable with a heavier club head (at least that is the case with these irons).
Given the two mentioned clubs, what is your take on them and which is more forgiving. And/or given the budget, what would you suggest.
Many thanks.
