thanks to bobmac anbd others who gave me some advice. I also got out our old beginners golf book and made a bit of a plan - slow swing (unlike usual slashing action!) using arms rather than turning whole body - ball forward and weight a bit forward too - allow wrists to cock and really think about using wrists on impact.
Went out to the practice bunker and had found it seemed to work. Since then didn't get much chance to test it for real :D until Tuesday (second day of ladies tour at Trethorne)when got in greenside bunker on short par 4 where we were playing nearest the pin in 2.
Followed all my rules and came out like a dream. Looked like I was also nearest pin :(
Still, was in prizes that day with 35 stableford.
Happy ending (for now anyway)

Good stuff

TBH I honestly think that technically it's not too important about some stuff coz you're not actually hitting a ball, the all important thing it to make sure you don't quit on it.

Sounds like you've got your mojo sorted.

:D
