Hi All,

Looking for recommendations for a course in Bucks for November on a Sunday (appreciate this removes a lot of options!). I do have a county card, though seems a lot don't accept on a weekend / only in the afternoon), but, happy to pay up to £100 for a round.
Ideally within 30-40mins or so of the Beaconsfield / Wycombe area.

Cheers!

Harewood Downs is a v nice course IMO. Likely cheaper than Beaconsfield

On chalk downs, and nicely undulated — so will have drained more than most, if it’s wet

Thanks for the tip - never played, but, v local to where I'm staying and looks like they do take visitors.

Due to the time of year with diminishing daylight, some members clubs will be having to restrict visitors to ensure that the members have access.
Having said that there are loads of courses within your radius

Certainly Harewood Downs is a good call, as well as Beaconsfield, Burnham Beeches, Flackwell Heath ( bit mountain goat), Wycombe Heights ( almost certainly get in there)
Chiltern Forest (more mountain Goat)
Ellesborough (you could play with us)

Harleyford, Henley, Temple, Winter Hill, Badgemore Park, Hazlemere, Gerrards Cross, Wexham Park or you could bomb up the M40/A40 and go to The recently opened Inspiration which is 20 minutes from HW

Enjoy, let us know where you end up

Thanks for this Phil, some great tips here! My playing partner has just booked Harewood Downs, so glad that gets the seal of approval.
Really appreciate the offer for a round at Ellesborough and keen to arrange in the future. Looks a great track from their website and reviews!

I played Harleyford this summer and the fairways were burnt out and dead. I can't see how they will recover until next year.
