Late last year we moved from a BT line to a local cable company. We took phone line and 10 meg download speed broadband. It is a fibre optic cable so pretty much always near 10 meg speed, much better then the 2 - 3 we used to get.
Recently the connection had been dropping off. After a couple of calls they agreed to send out an engineer, arranged that he would call me in the office 10 mins before he was going and I would meet him at home. Well come the end of the day, no phone all. On enquiring I wa told he turned up and there was no one in !!!
One of their staff called back all apologies and kindly let us know we had been upgraded to 30 meg download speed at no extra cost. Decent customer service so just thought I would let you all know about it.
