British masters, anyone going.

does anyone know if backpacks are okay to take in. Don't fancy carrying round a jacket all day.

Ive looked through the T&C's multiple times and found nothing.

I've taken a bag to the Senior Open and the PGA at Wentworth so i'd imagine there wont be any problems.

Carried the score board for the David Howell group, even though David looked very like Thomas Aiken. Lost count of the spectators that told me my scoreboard was wrong. Thomas was a nice chap, and our two celebrities were Sir Ian Botham and Alan Lamb. Really nice guys who were happy to chat to the spectators, pose for selfies etc. Alan Lamb let a couple of the yougsters hit his tee shot, and they creamed them. Then found out one was at the Wentworth Academy and the other played off 5.

Beefy can hit it miles, but not always in the right direction. He hit two monster shots to get to the front of the 18th in two. Not bad for someone that only had a major knee operation a few weeks earlier. We were followed the last four holes by Ewen Murray, but I didn't mention what the forum thought of his fellow Sky commentators.

does anyone else thing that its really poor form that Poulter and Rose (injured or not) are not there supporting the event? Poulter has no excuse as he is playing this week, Rose has pulled out 2 years in a row, but could at least have flown in and done some stuff.

Not sure how many of you are watching on TV....but its noticeable to me that a lot of the camera operators are absolutely shocking. Not even an attempt to follow the ball, no idea where its landing. Shocking.

always been an issue on the european tour in comparison to the PGA

Not a bad group to carry the scoreboard in. Westwood, Hatton and Fitzpatrick. :whoo: All played well, but Westwood's ball striking was the definitely the best. Just a shame he missed so many birdie putts. All three players were true gents.

Big thanks to Murph for the cup of tea.

Bumped into Cameron, as above, Gary, and obviously Rich. A few guys from my club too, which isn't surprising really.

Saw one spectator wandering round with a golf glove on. Really? What, he thought he might need to play the odd shot? Bizarre.
