Played with the e6 Bridgestone balls today and have to say I was impress on how they performed long of the tee and straight flight of the fairways.was a little apprehensive on using them but defo have tem in my bag for a while

e6 or RX - has elements in comon with both really.

if I was ever to buy a golf ball it would be the RX or RXS (same construxction but slightly softer feel which I prefer)

unfortunately I don't get many as pick-ups anywhere :( - the odd one from time to time against loads of Pro V's, and increasingly Pro V1x's

Just ran the AD333 as existing ball through their comparision/recomendation and it comes out at e6 (if you favour feel) or e7 if you favour straight and long :)

I agree the E6 is a very nice ball for a high handicapper like myself, I tried a box and liked them straight away, only thing I didnt like was the line to aim them, not as long as the Srixons, so a quick bit of marking up was called for, but for performance, they suited me really well.

Not with you Duncan

Mark I thought you were indicating that you saw the e6 as a high handicapper ball as opposed to a low handicapper one - re-reading your post I can see I could well have misinterpreted and that you were simply pointing out that the e6 has performance elements that suit a high handicapper like yourself - but that this doesn't preclude it suiting low handicappers too!

I think...

my mistake.

Thats right Duncan, I picked some up at AG as I always fancied trying some Bridgestone balls but couldnt justify paying a lot of money for a ball. The E6 fitted the bill very well so I thought I would try them, and was very pleased with them. I am sure a better player could get much more out of them than I can, but I liked them very much and will continue to use them.

Good for you.

I got suggested e5 (one in a hundred fitting "apparently") and bought a dozen.

I'm sticking with them at £20/dozen. When they go up to £25-30, which is way more than DX balls, Bridgestone can kiss my ar.....

Bridgestone balls are by far our best sellers, Slow swint speeds would benefit from the E6 or Fix ball, the E5 is a little harder to compress but does have the very special cover. I have used the E6 for a while and find it to be a great ball. The range is priced well from £15.99 for the fix to £34.99 for the new rxs ect range.

As with everything in golf, "some" people like your big brands and will not consider anything else, but for me "Bring on the bridgestone"..

I just bought 12 mixed e series balls on ebay and I am really looking forward to using them.I like how each model is designed to sort out one particular thing like spin, distance, straight flight, etc.I think i will be reporting back on their performance!

Love the RXS and they perform as well as the Penta or the Prov V for me. I've a couple of dozen but seem to have a huge stockpile of balls that I can't get through so haven't got to using them yet

i'm currently using e6, great feel of the putter and not too bad from the tee. I've tried the e7 which I would say is more like a proV with the e6 being equivilent to the nxt.

if you like ad333 and want a change then try the xFIXx range, good ball for the price.

Rgdave ur fitting was correct. The e6 ball would lower ur spin and give a lower launch. The e5 cover is designed to add spin. More spin in ur case means higher launch. Stick with the e5.
