Isn’t that what I said? Thanks for the clarification but it wasn’t needed.Just to ensure that the 'full story' about the vote is told..... As per the 1st link in LPP's post, Sinn Fein actually proposed the initial vote to 'oppose' it, but an amendment, subsequently passed with the Mayor's was introduced to 'condemn' it.
No matter how it is dressed up, Sinn Fein actually voted against condemning a terrorist attack.
It seems to me that the other parties saw right through Sinn Fein’s Proposal and showed them up for what they are. If Sinn Fein had won the vote against the amendment, if it wasn’t for the Mayor, the council would have actually voted against condemning a terrorist attack.
