I'm off to stay with some relatives this weekend on the North Norfolk coast and have heard from various sources that RWNGC aka Brancaster is a great place to go and play.

It's £50 a round though - can anyone who has played it tell me if it's worth it?

Thanks

RWNGC is certainly highly regarded and is ranked 53 in our Top 120

One of the editorial team is in fact a member there so I'll ask him to post a report and offer ideas for other courses in the area

cheers

Hi Trueblue,

As Mike says I am indeed a member at RWNGC and it's well worth your £50. It's is seaside golf as it is meant to be - an out and back track, with some glorious views and extremely tricky holes. The 8th, 9th and 10th are some of the best links holes i have ever played...obviously I am a bit biased!!

Afterwards the clubhouse is just what you wnat from a clubhouse - a huge, airy, old-fashioned room with no pretension and plenty of good ales

Other gd tracks in the area include

Hunstanton - great links with gd greens
Sherringham - beautiful cliff-top course
Kings Lynn - inland track of quality

Enjoy!
