As per my comment in the other thread, the thing that lets me down the most are the little grey cells between my ears.

A bad shot normally leads to a bad hole or two.

I'm hoping that playing regularly will allow me to learn to control myself better and that I make sure I follow a bad shot up with a good one.
 
I would like to think it's 'the next one' and if that's a decent shot then fine (cat kicked and walk on). but, if that too is a duffer then there is a 'frustration multiplication factor' to be considered.

If you have a 3 putt or you miss a tiddler and get on the next tee still angry, rip the hell out of the PRACTICE swing.
That helps get rid of the frustration, then swing smoothly and with graceful effortless power as you normally do. :D
