yes seemingly theres a half inch pipe suppling the boiler with a valve on it , try turning it clockwise a little. your incoming pressure can vary depending on other users

The only valve is the cold water tap which only has a 90 degree turn. According to the fitters guide these are fitted with a max flow insert on the boler side of this tap. With dismantling I couldn't say which is fitted

I have just noticed that when it isn't working the burners don't go onto second stage full gas rate.

The heating is working perfectly, but could it be the ch thermistor? I replaced the dhw thermistor but the service manual said that they both control dhw temperature.

I've also read that if the system knows the burners haven't gone into second stage then it shuts the gas off completely so don't think there is a solenoid of burner issue
