I bought it as i have been chasing a Napa / 8882 putter for ages and fancied a shot. I like heavier mallet style putters, having used them since i started playing. I just fancied a change to something very clean and traditional

Although these are marketed as "lite" it still weighs in at a whopping 600gm

Does any one else use a Boccieri? Curious as they are quite a low key looking company.

Popular in the US. I think the lite model works better than the heavy ones, and is well suited to the 8802 style. I use a similar lighter putter myself.

I actually looked at the Sophia putter, but struggled to find one for sale.

I did look at the bettinardi BB2 and Scotty Napa.

Until I saw the price.

Ooooffff

Not seen them for sale anywhere other than online. Not sure what that says about popularity, price etc. I like the 8802 style although I don't putt well with those putters so no good in my hands

It arrived today.

Nice bit of kit. Winn Grip and suede headcover.

Had a shot on the range practice green at lunch. Have to say that it feels really nice and is obviously i quality (as in build quality) piece of kit.

I am certainly a fan of having less 'clutter' to look at, with the simple bladed look a world apart from my last few putters (Yes Emma, TM Monza Rosa, Odyssey marksman and two ball and Scotty Detour).

The heavy feel really seemed to help with producing a smoother less jerky take away than i usually do and i sunk a good few putts.

Playing on Sunday and looking forward to giving it a whirl.
