Just back from my lunch break and a quick visit to American Golf. Went with the intention of trying the new Nike Concept out of curiosity more than anything else, but the delivery person had obviously had a seizure when he saw them as they had none in stock. Anyway, whilst I was there I thought I'd try a few other putters and found that I do get more stability with a larger putter head on short putts.
Short putts are the area I struggle with and have occasionally thought maybe I should have got a mallet. Thing is they have always put me off and I prefer a blade.
My Scotty has changeable weights in the head and when I bought it I asked for the 15gram weights as opposed to the standard 10gram. I am now wondering whether I'd get more stability with a slightly heavier head by getting the 20gram weights.
So just wondered if we had an Ethan for putters on here that would know what impact this would have on the club or if anyone else has dabbled with their putter headweight. Ta muchly
