Bloody nettle...

Surely before you walked into the nettles, you tried a bit of scything with a wedge first? Or was it in bounds, in which case you couldn't.

Did not see it.. most were just above the socks .. Was looking around for the ball..

havent called the ambulance, but the fire brigade may be needed...

I put some dishwasher soap on it (did not wash it off). The theory is that the Nettle sting is acidic, so you need some Basic soap to neutralise it. Mild hand soap or dishwasher would do the job... Left it for some time while watching telly... All fine this AM

I realised that moaning about Nettle stings gets you more grief that custom fitted tees or drinking coconut water on the course (sorry Homer).

Coconut Water ?!?

Hahaha I got bitten by an adder on the course last summer, thought it was just a prickly bush until half my leg n ankle swelled up like a balloon...

And I was wearing trousers
Good job you had troos on, if it were shorts something else could have been bitten and swollen up like a balloon :o

Sorry but I have say it again "Coconut Water" ?!? WTF

A while ago there was a thread about what to drink to curb dehydration. Homer suggested coconut water was great and promptly got shot down IIRC. TBH it does have some good properties for hydration, probably if anyone but H suggested it wouldn't have ended the way it did...
