Lovely golf weather in a pair of shorts = uncommon sight in this country..
Nettle around a golf course. = common sight in this country
Golf ball attracted to nettle in rough... Common problem

Golfer wearing shorts + Nettle = bloody painful

Back home and having washed it with soap, still bloody painful...

Have you tried manning up? It's a nettle, not a rattlesnake.

Hahaha I got bitten by an adder on the course last summer, thought it was just a prickly bush until half my leg n ankle swelled up like a balloon...

And I was wearing trousers

right now the leg is sitting quietly.. bloody painful when i move. Assume it will settle down.

Many years ago, was out Birdwatching in Malaysia (its a long story).. went into the jungle with a pair of shorts. Had white socks on. When we finished and got into the open... some one pointed to my blood soaked socks. Was bitten by a leech which had fallen off (possibly due to the alco from the prv night) and blood was oozing from the hole. As the leech applies a local anesthesia & anti-coagulant, the blood does not stop for a wee and you dont feel a thing!!!.... much easier than a nettle imo

Have you tried the butter yet?

No (real) butter at home.. Seen things like 'Its not butter but better' or Activa Low Cholesterol 'butter'... strange things you find in the fridge of a London commuter..
