Bleedin Heat

Back to some semblance of normality at last...22° and a breeze
And some rain too.
Little and often. Good for the gardens, rather than dumping all at once like Belfast today - a months rain this afternoon!
Might actually get some sleep tonight.

A law needs to be passed to stop really fat women wearing shorts in public. The land-inhabiting whale I saw in Tescos Weybridge on Thursday night could not have either put those on herself or removed them.

PS. I hope all the moaners out there are happy now. I hope they're playing in the monthly medal getting soaked to the skin.

Well, I've just got back from a gentle nine holes, played in the rain with no waterproofs, and it was absolutely brilliant...
Far far more pleasant than having to deal with betty swollox...

Flew into Leeds Bradford from the Med yesterday, not a fun flight (unless you like rollercoasters) was gripping the seat handles like I was at the dentist, didn't realise how windy and stormy it was until after we landed. Got drenched pulling 2 suitcases from the terminal door to the parking shuttle bus all of 130 yards away, was coming down in sheets, like a welcome back to Britain! Been wet all day in Gwynedd today too, suppose they need the rain.

Well it absolutely chucked it down early Saturday morning, but the course was still bone dry on Saturday afternoon. Then Saturday night and Sunday morning we had about a month of rainful it one long hit! I played football on Sunday, it was damp and drizzly but still warm.

Apparently it will slowly get back to the oppressive heat this week. So it was only a brief respite.

Chucked it down all days yesterday and only around 15 in a gusty wind. Going to be back to 30 by next weekend so hoping the rain plus the sun will get the grass back to a more green hue rather than the beige carpet we've been playing on recently

And the local forecast for Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. There's a strong possibility that Spain's all-time record of 47.3*C will be beaten. oh goody!

Pretty good. Looking forward to winter, or Sept at least when it starts to cool off. Found out today they're not keen on mankini's on the golf course over here.

 Still just Redcar that allows them then ;) don’t let them put you off wearing them, there’s not many that can pull it off :)
