Getting well cheesed off with this heat now, even when it rains it doesn't cool down.

Wouldn't be so bad if it was a dry heat, but the humid sticky heat we get is, well enough is enough.

I like the cold, roll on winter and 2 feet of snow.

So how hot is it in south east england? Whats the humidity level? Im on my holibags and its 33c now at 6pm in north eastern mallorca, car was saying 35 earlier which is as hot as its got in last 10 days, generally breezy which is great for not feeling as hot and the warm sea swimming is the best bit of the Med imo, thats where it leaves uk behind for holidays. Balearics dont seem to get the silly high temps greece gets. Was wandering about up in the Tramuntura earlier and was ok with the heat because of the wind, lower humidity is key i think for comfort, feels like a dry heat. Once wind drops without aircon at night itd be grim for sleeping.
Maybe i should have gone on holiday to england? We did book in february though! Enjoy it i say, how many poor summers does the uk get after all, you can double that crap factor for me living in Argyll.🤗

We were in the local village for a glass or three at lunch time. 39* in the square. 34* in the pool this afternoon. Just another day in paradise.

mid 20's here with a nice breeze to keep you cool. Been warn at night but nothing like when we lived down south, horrible humid nights with no wind. Give me up here anyday

Was going to check the temp in my garden Studio/Office - plonked the thermometer on a chair in the shade - but the sun has moved round a bit and it has been sitting in the sun - and showing 40*. Just moved it out of the sun into the shade on my desk...showing 38* at the moment (it is well insulated to keep the warmth in :) )

My local weather station is currently reporting (live) 29.7* and 54% humidity

Heard on news earlier that we can expect this for another two weeks - maybe getting slightly cooler - down into the mid-20s

Fab u luss here in South Ayrshire.
After a nights heavy rain it is 20 degrees with a lovely wee breeze.

Most of my Scottish family are meeting up with friends and relatives in London, poor souls, really feel for them.

I'm just back from a weekend's racing at the Silverstone Classic. It was so hot and humid I couldn't sleep at night. Glad to be back home.

One of my elderly neighbours was charged off to hospital this afternoon suffering from heatstroke. Came back from work in time to see the ambulance leaving....

There's a reason we use golf carts in the US. The high heat and humidity make it almost impossible to play especially when it is always in the mid 30s. Put that with the fact that you have long walks between tees, I think I will be lazy and use a cart.

Cart! Bloody CART! How long have you been in the States Adey? :)

It will be raining by the end of the weekend. How do I know? Because I am off to Wales for five days golfing with a bunch of mates.

Seriously though it's getting a bit tedious now. Mainly because my lawn has been trashed and I'm fed up of watering the plants every night.

Lovin' it, driving around London gazing at long legs and short skirts, what's not to like
