Having suffered yesterdays 1st half debacle at the Palace I really didnt think it could get much worse - until I sat through the first half of this!

Surely the times up for Kean if they lose this one?

OI!! We'll be having none of that blasphemy here!!

ANY game of football in which the glorious young men in red and blue are the protagonists is a thing of outstanding beauty which should be witnessed by the entire world!!

Birmingham were shocking though..

AW - Brum played 5 across the middle and we couldnt pass our way through. As soon as Dougie got rid of Martin there was only one winner. The second half was much better. The passing was quicker too.

I am trying to watch this game tonight but when my teams not involved, neither is my heart.

Blackburn were not in the game until 60 mins. At home that is shocking.

Win lose or draw tonight Steve Kean has to go. With the bottom of the league being so tight avoiding relegation might not be mission impossible for the new guy but if Kean, who appears to have no tactical awareness what so ever, stays in charge I don't think there's any chance.

Kean is a dead man walking now. Trouble is can they really afford to sack him with so many games in the next two weeks and find a replacement who could come in straight away and get the team playing.

they (Blackburn) were awful 1st half and unlucky in the 2nd. was enjoyable overall as a neutral.

God they have some cack in their team, can see Samba moving in January aswell, only decent player left would be Robinson!

I am surprised Keane hasn't walked yet the amount of abuse he is getting, personally the blame lies with the players and the Venkeys. Talk about having cack owners

Kean needs to be put out of his misery. Nobody deserves the abuse he is getting for trying to do a job that he is just not up to. Just pleased that our manager, Brian McDermot, has no attachment to any of the clubs at the bottom, or we could be losing him.

Never understood the idea that a manger should have been a player with the club he then manages. Satisfies the supporters for a short while, but long term it should be the best man for the job.

Kean won't go as he wants a pay off. Any decent person that cared about the club would've walked ages ago when it become clear they were out of their depth. The way he keeps on stumbling from defeat to defeat is shocking.

Reading fan richart? Good run of form lately, Brighton on Boxing Day should be a decent one.

Oh yes went to my first game in 1970. I hope we can go on a run like we did last season, and at least get into the play offs. Defence is better than last year, but missing Shane Long up front. Hopefully Simon Church will keep scoring. Are you a fan ?

what a 'joke' of a statement....typical but....Shearer only had 8 games to try keep Newcastle up and absolutely no experience at managerial level

So why take the Job

As for the the Blackburn/Bolton match I thought Coyle got his tactics spot on. Didn't give Blackburn anything like a sniff for the first hour.

One thing I will say is Blackburn fans aren;t doing their team any favors. The first Bolton goal goes in and they are immediatley chanting for the manager to go and displaying banners. That's got to affect the players who are trying to get back into the game.

Sure am mate. Not a season ticket holder but go to around 10 home and aways a season. Our problem is we're too predictable, we just use the wings as we've got no attacking quality in the middle. The thing is, it still works as the league isn't a great standard. Kebe and Mcanuff are two of the best wingers in the league aswell. If they perform, we're a very good side, if they don't we struggle. I think if we can pick up 6 points from the two home games over Christmas we'll be in a decent position :D
